Usage

If you are a woman receiving testosterone treatment and you start noticing the development of male characteristics like hair on the face, male pattern baldness, etc, stop taking testosterone and consult your doctor immediately. In such instances if you continue taking testosterone the development of male characteristics may become irreversible Even if you notice enlarged clitoris, changes in menstrual periods or decrease in sex drive you should be concerned and consult your doctor immediately.

Precaution

Do not take Testosterone if you are susceptible to allergic reactions with hormone treatment.

Before being prescribed testosterone tell your doctor if you are taking blood thinners like Warfarin (Coumadin), anti-diabetic medications like Micronase, Glynase,Amaryl, Glucophage or any other anti-diabetic medicines. Also inform your doctor if you are using steroids like methylprednisolone or prednisolone.

Take special care in informing your doctor if you have medical conditions such as high cholesterol, liver or kidney disease, or clotting disorders, so that your doctor can take these factors into reckoning before prescribing Testosterone.

Use of testosterone in improving athletic performance is considered inappropriate.
